BEING NAUGHTY IS ALL I KNOW.....

I wrote this tutorial on 5th June, 2007. Any similarity to any other tutorial is coincidental. Please do not claim it as your own. If there is something I have used and it is yours, please let me know so I can give you the credit you deserve or remove it.

I used Paint Shop Pro 9 but can be done in any version.You will need a good knowledge of Paint Shop Pro.

YOU WILL NEED:

* I have used the artwork of Monte M. Moore. You can purchase a license to use his work from HERE

* Mask - Becky 042 - Thank you to Becky for allowing the use of her masks.

* Font of choice - I used Angelina and Copperplate Gothic Light

* Supplies HERE

LETS START!

1) Open a new transparent image - size 600 x 400. Flood fill white.

2) Layers. New Raster Layer. Using your preset shape rectangle, background black. Draw out a square. Convert to raster Layer.Add drop shadow of your choice. Use original image above as guideline.

3) Using your selection tool, draw a rectangle inside the black square. Use original image above as a guide. Make sure that your Black rectangle layer is highlighted. Selections and then delete. You should now have something that looks like this,

4) Layers - New Raster Layer. Using your pen tool. Draw out a white grid across your black frame using line width of 2.

5) Layers - New Raster Layer. Floodfill your inner black frame with a fading white gradient. Layers - Load Mask - Becky_Mask042 - Layers - Merge - Merge group. You should now have something that looks like this,

6) Copy and Paste your tube as a new layer. I resized my tube to 120 to make it appear bigger in the box. Drag the image under Your black rectangle. Make sure your tube layer is highlighted. Selections - Invert and then delete. Add drop shadow of your choice to your tube.

7) Copy and paste your tube layer at original size as a new layer. Move this layer above all the rest of your layers so that tube is positioned in front of black rectangle. Add drop shadow of your choice.

8) Add wording inside black rectangle. I used Copperplate Gothic Light font for this in black, you can use a font of your choice if you wish to. You can use the wording that I have used or your own.

Position text where you would like it to be. Add white dropshadow of your choice.

9) Next add your text along the bottom of the black rectangle, using font of your choice. I used Angelina font in white.

Position text where you would like it to be. Add black dropshadow of your choice.

10) Add your copyright to your tag. You should now have something that looks like this,

Now its time to animate our image...

1) While in PSP - x out your tube layer in front of the black rectangle.

2) Edit - Copy Merged.

3) Open up your Animation Shop.

4) Edit - Paste - As New Animation.

5) Edit - Duplicate Selected. Do this so that you now have 7 images.

6) Find your ani star and open this as a new animation.

7) With your ani star image open.... Edit - Select All - Copy.

8) Open up your tutorial image. Edit - Select All - Paste - Into Selected Frame. Position ani star down the side of your frame on both side. You will have to do this twice on both sides.

9) Open up your ani star image again. This should still have all frames selected. Animation - Rotate - Right 90. Edit - Copy.

10) Go back to your tutorial image and Edit - Paste - Into Selected Frame. Position ani star along the top of your frame. Repeat this step until ani star is right along the top of your frame.

11) At this time if you want to resize your image. Edit - Select All - Animation - Resize Animation. I resized my images to 450.

12) Go back to your Paint Shop Pro and x out all layers except for your main tube that is infront of your black rectangle. Edit - Copy Merged.

13) Go back to your Animation Shop. Edit - Paste - As New Animation. Duplicate this 7 times as you before. Also resize these images if you resized your tutorial previously.

14) Edit - Copy.

15) Open up your original tube layer that you animated with ani star.... make sure that all frames are selected....Edit - Paste - Into Selected Frame.

16) View - Animation.

When you're happy with it, save it using the optimization wizard & save as a .gif.
